Financial Hardship Income Tax Refund Request
Are you expecting an income tax refund and experiencing financial hardship?
The Tax Office can help if this applies to you.
You will need to provide your tax file number, contact details and information about your expected refund amount (if known) to the ATO.
Once you submit the form, the ATO undertakes to call you back within two business days.
Quoting your tax file number (TFN)
You will need to supply your TFN if you use this process. However, you’re not legally obliged to provide your TFN. If you don’t want to provide your TFN, please contact the ATO
